CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) – Part-time or on call

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist and support adults with developmental disabilities in vocational skills training, developmental rehabilitation, social skills training, and community integration within our community day services program in Skokie, Illinois.

Schedule/Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 1st shift (25 hours per week) Typical schedules: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM. No weekends or holidays required.

Intake/Case Manager (QIDP) Full-Time

Location: The Douglas Center | Skokie, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Work Setting: In-Person
Employment Type: Full-Time

The Douglas Center is looking for a full-time Intake/Case Manager (QIDP-Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) to perform tasks and duties under general supervision from the Director of Program & Clinical Services and uses established procedures and innovation to complete work assignments and is responsible for the implementation of case management services for adults with developmental disabilities receiving services at The Douglas Center. In addition to developing relationships with community members, in the anticipation of obtaining new participants and participants referrals, who want to join in on services offered by Douglas Center. 

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Friendly, approachable, and mission-driven

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant social service field (required)

  • Meets QIDP eligibility requirements (required)

  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Organized, proactive, and collaborative in a team setting

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics

  • Valid driver’s license
