ABOUT US
The Douglas Center is a non-profit organization providing community day services (CDS) for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. Founded in 1999 by Rifath Khan, CEO and President, the center has become a beacon of support and empowerment for adults with special needs.
Under Ms. Khan’s visionary leadership, the center has expanded four times to meet the growing demand for its vital programs and services within the community. Now operating in an expansive 40,000 square foot facility, The Douglas Center offers a diverse and comprehensive range of community day services (CDS), including work skills training, life skills training, vocational training, developmental rehabilitation, and so much more. Today, the center stands as a home away from home for the many dedicated individuals it supports daily.
