FOR BUSINESS
Cost Savings for You, Work Opportunities for Us
The Douglas Center Work Center offers a variety of cost-effective services to businesses and individuals in the Chicago metro area. Our Work Center program provides meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, engaging them in ongoing contract piecework to enhance their work skills. We partner with manufacturers, businesses, and individuals to procure piecework contracts that benefit both our program participants and our partners.
Our program participants are trained and skilled in light manufacturing, sewing, packaging, assembly, shrink-wrapping, labeling, collating and heat sealing. Each completed work order undergoes thorough inspection by quality control specialists to ensure the highest standards before shipment.
The Douglas Center also provides industrial machine sewing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. In partnership with the AbilityOne program, we have held sewing contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and numerous private sector clients.
Our contract partners benefit from significant cost savings while contributing to the community by creating work opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Consider The Douglas Center as a cost-effective resource for your upcoming production. We are eager to discuss your project requirements and provide a free quote.
