Celebrating Success

Congratulations to our recent graduates of the Employment Training Units Program! These dedicated individuals have completed 12 weeks of hands-on training in Hospitality, Office, and Retail skills, gaining valuable experience to prepare for future employment opportunities.

This program is open to both our participants and AbilityOne employees, providing essential workplace skills that foster independence and confidence. We are so proud of our graduates for their hard work and commitment to building a brighter future!

Thanks to the unwavering support of our friends, donors, and community partners, the evening was a resounding success, filled with gratitude, celebration, and a shared vision for the future.

The evening began with a warm welcome to approximately 200 guests who gathered to honor The Douglas Center’s remarkable journey. Our theme, “Serving with Heart: 25 Years of Transforming Lives,” resonated deeply as we shared stories of resilience, growth, and the profound impact we’ve made in the Chicago metro area.
