The Douglas Center Launches Community Food & Essentials Drive

The Douglas Center Food Drive
Supporting Local Families in Need • November 10–14

The Douglas Center is proud to support our community through a Food & Essentials Drive benefiting the Niles Township Food Pantry. With recent reductions to SNAP benefits and rising food costs, many of our neighbors — including families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities — are facing increased difficulty accessing basic necessities.

From November 10 through November 14, we invite our community, friends, and supporters to join us in ensuring that no neighbor goes hungry. Your generosity will help provide essential food and personal care items for local households in need.

Items Most Needed:
  • Non-perishable food items
Canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, soups, shelf-stable proteins, and more

  • Personal care & hygiene essentials
Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, razors, shaving cream, mouthwash

  • Infant & toddler supplies
Baby food, formula, diapers, wipes, toddler snacks & juice boxes
