Step inside The Douglas Center and witness the vibrant energy of our participants as they arrive, ready to engage in meaningful work and enriching activities.

In our Work Center program, participants develop valuable skills in light manufacturing, packaging, assembly, commercial sewing, fulfillment services, and more—gaining experience that fosters independence and work readiness. With each carefully packed product and completed task, they build confidence, work tolerance, and communication skills, preparing for new career paths and opportunities.

Beyond the Work Center, our program extends far beyond the walls of production. The video captures our participants:

  • Exploring creativity through art and horticulture
  • Engaging in social groups that build friendships and communication skills
  • Caring for our onsite aquarium, fostering responsibility and connection
  • Giving back to the community, volunteering at a local food pantry
